It’s been a few years since I’ve been snowboarding. It seems a lifetime ago now, but there was once a time when I kept a season pass for Bogus Basin and made good use of it. After a few years of marriage, kids, and responsibilities, I look back and realize I’ve only taken the time to make it snowboarding a few times in the last 10 years.
This weekend, Bogus was having a deal so the lift tickets were a little cheaper than usual, and I got an invite to go up the hill with my friends Dan and Greg. Greg was taking his 3 kids and so I rode with Dan. I decided to leave the camera in the car, partly because I didn’t want to land on it if I fell, and partly because I wasn’t entirely certain how it would handle the cold and moisture. One problem I ran into today, I forgot my coat. That’s right, I hopped into Dan’s car with most of my gear, but forgot to grab my coat. Fortunately, the weather was beautiful, hence part of my problem with the day. I really wanted to spend my day snowboarding, but I was torn by the desire to spend my time skulking around the hill with my camera.
So here is what I got. It’s not much, just a few shots from where we parked and on the way down the hill.
What do you think?
