The kids and I wanted some goals for our backyard soccer games. I thought it would be a fun little project for us this afternoon. They turned out really nice, so I thought I’d share. The whole set, including the glue only cost $30 for 2 goals. The goal ends up being about 5′ wide and 4′ tall.
(6) 10′ sticks of schedule 40 3/4″ PVC pipe
(12) 3/4″ PVC 90 deg fittings

I definitely recommend doing a dry fit before gluing the parts together. You might even like to go without glue so you can take it apart later, but I can tell my kids would dismantle it pretty quickly if I did.
We still would love to get some nets to fit the frames too. But even without, these goals work great.
What do you think?
