Another trip to Pocatello this week. I’ve been sent to On Semiconductor to ready an air handler that they are adding to their list of equipment running the facility. So across our beautiful state I go again. As I drove the 4 hour journey home, it occurred to me that this drive is one of the most beautiful and boring drives ever. With its gorges and beautiful mountain ranges, it’s amazing. But it is also mostly desert, and full of nothing to look at for miles and miles.
I am also fascinated by the windmills along the way near Mountain Home and American Falls. Some people think they’re eye-sores, but I find them interesting, like gentle giants, relaxing on the hillside, waving as I pass.
This one is less of a landscape, and more of an evidence of how bored I get while watching TV by myself in the hotel. 🙂
