The day of disappointment has come and gone once again. Valentines day seems to be a day when expectations are high, and few are met satisfactorily. This year was once again a little bit of a downer. I ended up having to work out of town on Valentines day. How crappy is that?
In an effort to reassure my wife of my love, I picked up some flowers the day before, then I took them down to Pizza Hut and asked them to deliver the flowers along with a pizza for dinner on the evening of Valentines day. It worked out really nicely. I was bummed to miss my girl that night, but in reality, it was just another evening. Every night should be an opportunity to show love to our significant other.
