Waterin’ Hole
I saw this old trough being filled a little too full on the way to Malta Idaho and thought it was interesting. I’m not sure if the valve was broken or there was a reason it was left on, but it looks like it may have been on for a while.

Isn’t Winter Over Yet?
I’ve heard that quite a bit lately. C’mon spring, hurry up so it’s not so cold anymore! I’m not sure if I want winter to go away completely. The snow is beautiful. It makes things that might otherwise be drab and dull, shiny and clean. This morning was amazing to look at, but I do…

Panorama From Malta
I had another little jaunt to Malta Idaho this week. Most of the trip was covered in clouds and stormy, but the clouds did break long enough for a shot just before I left. This one is basically from the front door of Raft River Electric’s office.

Malta Idaho
Where’s that? It’s where the office for Raft River Electric is at. Raft River provides the power service to a pretty large area including south Idaho, northern Utah, and northern Nevada. They also are putting in some security in their offices, including card access readers that I had to go down to program for them.…

The Idaho Sky
Another trip to Pocatello this week. I’ve been sent to On Semiconductor to ready an air handler that they are adding to their list of equipment running the facility. So across our beautiful state I go again. As I drove the 4 hour journey home, it occurred to me that this drive is one of…

Work Trip To Ketchum Idaho
For work this week, I took a little trip up to Ketchum, Idaho. I was tasked with doing a retrofit of the controls on the hospital’s main air handler. Naturally, I had my camera with me. This is Soldier Mountain, I took it from the road on my way through the valley. The next few…

Early Morning Sky
It may be the sweltering heat recently, or the lingering smog from the nearby fires, but the sky has been especially pretty this week.

A Quick Trip To Cascade
This last week I got to install the software for the new security cameras in the Cascade School District in Cascade Idaho. I only stayed 3 days, but I spent what little extra time I did have there finding beautiful pictures just waiting to be captured. I took a quick hike to Blue Lake up…

ON Semiconductor
I had to do some work for On Semiconductor in Pocatello this week. The drive is long and less than exciting, but if you’re looking for it, there are still a ton of beautiful things along the way. I was very busy but I managed to take just a few pictures anyway.

The Boise Haze
With the almost unbearable heat this year comes the fires. Sometimes from storms or campfires, but always bringing the smoke. The Boise valley over the last few days has become a cauldron of heat and smoke, coating our lungs and giving us dreams of blue skies and swimming pools once again.

Boise Adventurer
We went for a little hike up to Tablerock this afternoon. Boise is an incredible place, particularly for a lover of the outdoors. The trail is a bit steep and long for just a casual stroll but the view is well worth a little effort. Here is a shot I took of a bicyclist checking…
